I have a vacuum operated fuel pump on my zuki 185. i rebuilt it but it still has issues (can see it has trouble keeping fuel in line through clear fuel filter) is there a aftermarket pump thats vacuum operated i can use? theres no new oem available and ebays used ones are junk, i tried one already.
any help is appreciated, my bike runs fine if i hold the tank above the carb and let it gravity feed without the fuel pump system...

Are you sure that the vacuum port isn't clogged and that it is pulling a suficient vacuum?

yes, wish it was that simple, just need to find a different pump altogether, the zuki one is obsolete

well what if you took it off and went straight to the carb from the tank?

Or just got a different tank and petcock that doesn't require the pump.

These tanks are below the carb by the right rear tire. Wonder if a mikuni like is used on a race kart could be used ??

One of these should do the trick.

A briggs and Stratton pump, like the vanguard v-twins use, may work too. Every mower dealer should have them, tho that mikuni looks better. I just put one of the briggs pumps on an onan powered welder- using just crankcase pulsations, it pumps well, and the pressure is not too high like the aftermarket electric pumps would be.

The one El posted will work. But be sure you have the vacuum line and fuel line routed UNDER the frame rail. A lot of guy srun them accidentally on top, put the seat on,wala, no fuel. Popular mistake.
