Well guys after a few months without any atc i just could not resist to get another one!

This will be my 7th atc haha

1 83 185s
2 83 185s
3 84 200m
4- 84 200x
5- 84 200x
6- 84 250r
7- this one

Its an atc plain 200 1983 not s not e.

It was stored for a long time. The old man that had it died and his wife stored it for like 10 years. It still have the h-trak tire on the front. ( all cracked with a tube lol ) .

I trade it against my 1982 ct70 that was jut sitting in the garage.

Beside the gas tank and a little dent on the rear fender, i have to say its pretty clean! This one will probably stay at my girlfriend father's house. His back yard is a wide forest so ill leave it there!

Way to go franky, what happen the the airfoolers. Did I miss something?

Yeah. Well it was just not the right for me. I loved more my old 200x that i rebuild with a 250cc engine than the air fooler. But it was an amazing trike. Right now my sled is for sale and if i sell it soon ill maybe try to get another 200x or a 350x.

I guess i'm more of a 4 stroke guy when it comes to atc haha.

Thanks guys!

Did a couple of things on the atc today.

-changed the oil
-painted the header in black.
- put a new front brake cable

The rear end had a little loose and by looking at it i realised it was just the hub bolt that was loose and not the axle bearing!

Also some of you will not be proud of me haha. I decided to put some stud on my rear tire. And of course i will not be doing extreme ice racing with it. So i put about 100 hex head 1/2 " metal screw per tire, and i can't wait to try it ! I had them at home and if they ever fail ill just but some kild kutter ice screw.

Ill put some picture later!

Well here is what an afternoon of free time , a couple of flat bar piece and an old skidoo ski gives.

Another At-ski is born! Now i only have to wait for the snow to come. And if not if takes like 5 minutes to put back the front wheel on ! I just need to make something to prevent thw front wheel from spining haha

Cool project but there are some issues with your design.

The hub is not designed to take that type of load. It will be a lottery to see which fails first- the hub flanges, the 2 studs you employed, or the flat bar that will not withstand the repeatedly shifting torsional load.

No telling what the components will do when it snaps. Be sure to watch for signs of stress.

The flatbar are double. They were flexing a little when i turn the steering and then i added the horizontal brace and it solve the problem. And i know for the stud. But here in quebec i saw alot of people doing it. And its not going to be a jump machine. I'll check it before riding it for sure. I just need to find a way to prevent it to spin.

I have one hell of an update guys!

I knew that i will not be able to contain myself from buying another atc. And i was browsing my local craigslist add when i saw an ad for a 3 wheeler without any description except :

Good condition, runs great.

And 2 picture.

Those were the only picture i had of it. I decided to call the guy and today i went to see it.

After a 2h car ride i arrive and saw the big red. I don't know why but i've never had a 250es and i kinda want one and this one was in pretty good shape.

So, I bought it from the second owner, the first one bought it new in 1985, ride it a year and stored it for 20 years, Yeah 20 years!

Then the second owner bought it when the first owner passed away, and the second owner left it at his camping to ride across the camping site and take out some wood out of the forest once a year.

Picture time (please be nice it was after a 2 hour car ride on my open trailer haha )

The rear rack was bolted and not welded to the oem rack and the seat was of an old kawasaki atv.

Seriously guys its not a museum showroom piece but look at the fork and frame on this picture!!

It even have the original tire with alot of tread on it!

I have to say its the nicest ohtsu pro am tire i ever saw. Its just a little cracked but still in very good shape!

I like the old school look of the 2 added spotlight but i think i will replace them with some led cree spotlight that i have here!

I guess i can say i made a good ''barn find'' Well it was not in a barn but in a garage so ''garage find'' lol!

Have a good day guys and have good holidays!;)
