drive chain 78 atc90 rub

new kmc 428 86link chain new front and rear sprockets the master link is rubbing the subtrans housing has anyone ground a relief in the flat cover of masterlink to clear or is this just a wrong chain?? thanks for the help:wondering

If it's an O-Ring chain it's probably to wide or even some of the 428H chains can rub some to .
