250sx to 200x front fork conversion

Ok so I got a nice 85 250sx and an extra set of 200x forks complete with everything. So my question is should I do the conversion or not. I have seen them done and have heard mixed reviews but mostly positive things. I am just wanting feedback if anyone has done it. What are the pros and cons. Is there a big difference in handling? Are the disk brakes worth it? Thanks

I don't have a sx but I do have the triples and 200x forks on the front of my BR. Progressive spring were a decent investment. It helps match the stiff rear shock.
