I came across this at a local independent grocery store. The plastic is actually fiberglass and the wheels have been coated with some sort of hardened laminate. The engine says Yamaha and I noticed it was shaft drive when it was operational.
Not sure if these were mass-produced or this is a one-off. Whatever the case, I was surprised and pretty happy to see one like that.

It's a zinger!!! Im pretty sure that I have seen one like this on 3ww before. Probably about a year ago. That one looks to be in very good shape. I wish I had one at the house. My kids would love it...

Very cool.
I don't know if it's still there because it's been a few years, but in Bishop, CA. out front of a K-Mart there is a italjet 3 wheeler, I was surprised since they are rare in the USA, maybe it was built in Italy?
I have also seen a italjet quad like this one, but I don't remember where.

There are two of them for sale in my area. Both work. I think the guy wants $1000 each, which is why I passed.

Kazander has one he put on a trailer and brought to a group ride. I look really funny on it (6'-4" 280lbs+) but it's cool. There's a video of the incident somewhere on the interweb...
