New 200ES Fenders on eBay Now??

I've been absent from the forums for a while... Yeah i know life gives you a kick in the arse now and then and i have been burning my candle at both ends and melting it in the middle with a blow torch to boot... Anyway, i came back on here tonight finally and wanted to mention what i have been seeing on eBay.

Was wondering anyone know who this is making them?? They are fiberglass not plastic, and they look really really good. Even has the correct texture under the rack area and all the correct holes. Not a bad price either really for what looks like quality work! And right here in good ole MN!!

Had a set on my old 200es made by Ric from ATC heaven. They looked the same. Very good. Doubt it is the same guy as Ric is here in Australia.

no thanks.. appreciate the post, but I loath fiberglass fenders myself. I have had quite a few bad experiences with them.

those are beautiful but i don't see how you'd eliminate all the stress around the mounting holes. seems like every 200 big red fender has cracks around the holes, i can only imagine how fast it would happen with fiberglass.

I have bought some items that this guy makes and they are amazing. I would use his parts over Maier or if I had to buy them used oem any day. The finish is great they hold up well and they are not heavy or thick like you would expect.

I sent him a message I want him to make me a front fender for my 83 200 and my 200m. We all know how hard it is to find that front fender.

I personally think those fiber glass ebay fenders would look great on a trike you just look at but I use my 200es for work and admit it in life accidents happen and I feel plastic is more forgiving than the fiber glass but they sure do look nice!!

The positive I see with fiberglass is a better ability to make repairs that are seamless and paint adheres better overall with less prep. But thats just my opinion. I had a white set of fiberglass fenders made for my wife's atc125m that I accidentally caught on fire a couple of months ago. They look great and the last set we had survived more than 4 years without getting broken.
