High power alternator (stator) for (83`) 200X?

Hi guys!

does anybody know if there where high power alternators produced for the 200x? it has to be compatible to a Regulator/reticifier cuz i want to upgrade it with a battery charging system....Any other suggestions to upgrade it are highly welcome too....

Early model Honda XL185s. You have to use the stator, flywheel and magneto cover. All bolts on with no mods.

are u sure that i need to replace flyweel and cover to??
is the flyweel a stronger magneto? or why shouldnt replace only the stator?

The XL stator is a few mm bigger, so you use the slightly larger XL flywheel as well. The XL stator has a different bolt pattern and that is why you use the XL cover. From the outside the covers look excactly the same. The XL stator etc lets you easily run a 100watt light.
