my 200s front axle has seized. i've tried all types of anti seize aerosols, the impact, i've don't it all and it is stuck! is heat and beat a bad idea? was thinking it might mess up some seals or something?

i was dealing with a froze up pivot bolt a while back and from what i saw a Slide Sledge is a better choice than a huge hammer and far less likely to damage stuff.

or you can call some of the bike shops in your area and ask if they have one since i am sure they deal with froze up bolts all the time

So you can't turn the axle using the nut correct?

Heat at the brake hub and a good air impact usually does the trick . If all else fails cut it out and replace the axle .

Does the axle have a hole to insert a drift/punch into?

If you've been able to get it out of the threads on the fork put a nut on the threads and beat it with a dead blow hammer.

Air impact gun should do it.

My Big Red axle was frozen up tight for years.
We heated it up using map gas, applied PB Blaster and tapped (not beat) on it while using an air impact.
After many cycles of that process, it did finally come loose using a breaker bar with a cheater bar.
It is frustrating a takes some time, but eventually it will break loose.
