-Ignition keys for the 250sx / es Honda

Any thoughts on where to get ignition key blanks or
code number copies?

I went to my local general hardware store who also cuts keys, gave him the original and 5 mins later I had a spare! He had the blanks in stock so I assume it's a fairly common type. My Honda dealer supplied the rubber cap and it fitted straight on - looks absolutely original.

our old time hw store closed.
Hard to believe we haven't lost any keys yet.
3 digit codes are like 'a56' and B 44.

Yeah, really hate to lose a key.

If you take the key cylinder out, there is a code on there someplace. With that code a locksmith can make a key.
