Has anyone tried some of these? I think 8mm would fit my 5/16" poly fuel lines:

If you have a Harbor Freight near you you can get a kit of assorted sizes of those things for a few bucks. I have them on my bikes and have had no issues.

I've noticed that some tygon, yellow or blue lines fit perfectly without clamps
and I loop them down to act as a sediment trap.
However, for some reason, either alcohol gas or uv rays will make them jelly and loosen up...
so clamps are a good idea.
No thoughts on clamps as all the 1/4", 7mm lines etc etc have different outside diameters.
