My 85 250r has a vibration in the 220451lower end. After pulling the cluck cover off there is wear marks on the back of the outer basket and the kicker gear. There is quite a bit of play in the basket but it seems this is normal. There is also play in the kicker gear. Upon further inspection the two washers are missing on both sides of the collar. I've read that after s/n 141xxx that they no longer used them. I'm also missing the washer between the bearings on the shafts the clutch goes on. It has the later style collar but not the one piece bearing. So...
Do I need to find the washer for the clutch basket or can I use the one piece bearing from a 86 cr250r which is a dimensional match for the one piece bearing.
Do I also need need find the two washers or get the later collar for the kicker shafts.
I just got my motor back from the builder rode it for a week now this. Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
