looking at buying some new carrier bearings but the trike came with a aftermarket aluminum carrier. Would the bearings be the same as stock ones so i know what to order?

Likely the aftermarket carrier is a "double row" bearing. The bearings used in the aftermarket are actually thicker than in OEM setups. You can order the thicker bearing kit from all balls.

would you happen to have a part number? all i can find is the OEM replacement. Thanks

Make sure that is not a double rowed bearing. Stock was single rowed. I would measure and find some that match measurements as well as there are
Numbers on the seal part of it that you can reference.

no offense Oscar, but I have no idea what you are talking about. He said he has an aftermarket carrier. They hold double-row bearings (they aren't actually two bearings mashed together) they are a thicker bearing, 1 per side. jrooster, that bearing in your hand is 3/4 of an inch wide so you need the bearing kit I pasted a couple posts back.

OK just making sure thanks again! Also, in the 25-1401 all balls kit, what are the 2 orings and how do they go in? i dont remember seeing these while removing the old ones.

You don't use those on an aftermarket carrier. Those are for the OEM carrier. Don't know why they include them.
