ATC70 Tank Repair?

Hi Guys

I had this tank blasted and it was a little farther gone that I suspected. Is this fixable
or is it scrap?

Very fixable. Pop the bubble gum repair out. Then, Weld,braze,either way you will be lining it to make sure it never leaks again.

you should be able to braze that and not see when its painted...

OK great just have to find someone to braze it for me then I'll get it Nickel plated.

Just got my '82 250R tank back from plating. Now to get it painted.

Yes the tank was sand blasted and had a rough finish. Where it was welded and sanded down the plating has a nice shine to it. I'm not doing it
for pretty I just don't want any more rust.....it is pretty shiny inside though.
