225dr sounds like its bouncing off the rev limiter at wide open

It was running ok some stalling at first but now after cleaning the carb and jets real good it takes off quick but seems like its bouncing of the rev limiter i can let off the throttle to 2/3 throttle and seems fine there but any more its back to doing it again the bike is all stock new air filter and plug Good compression but i did notice its got a 120 main jet 20 piolit jet but my other 3 have 112.5 mains and 20 piolit anyone have this problem before

Your main jet at 120 is way to big. Your putting to much fuel vs air into you engine when full throttle. I have a 115 in my carb right now it's good and runs smooth. I have a dg performance exhaust and a snorkel though. I'm changing engines to one that has a lot of work done to it so a 115 or 120 will be fine for me. If everything is stock biggest you should be is a 115. Smallest would be 110. But stick to the 112.5 or the 115.

Ok thanks for the info. Did the dg exhaust give it any more pep and sound Good?Iv been looking at them but didn't know if it was worth the money or not
