Hey all,

I was getting the Tri-z setup for this weekend's Overbrook race and figured I would pull the Tecate out and snag a couple pics together. Ignore the messy garage, lol.

Man those look like fun. What top speed do you get around a track on the tri-z? What's that under that tarp there?

I miss that Tecate. That's one I never should have let go. Thanks for giving it a great home.

Those are some good looking wheelers xrider! Is that a Cal-Fab on your Z?

Thanks guys. The Tri-z is set up for very short courses so it tops out quickly (12" rear tires). Due to the design of the CALFAB on the Tri-z, I cannot run a smaller sprocket on the rear than I have on it now. The two tarps in the corner are two more of my racers. I have a few gems in my other garage as well. Someday I'll get all of them dragged out for a group picture.

No problem BKM. It's a pleasure to have it in the stable.

Hey xrider would it be possible if you could take an close up picture of your z Calfab just trying to see how many different versions of the z Calfab was made.

I'll snag a few pics for you this weekend. Oile, if you are in Kansas you should come out to Overbrook. I will have the Z there this weekend.

Glad to see you still have Doug's/BKM's Tecate. I got a chance to throw a leg over that tecate once. Its a damn rocket.....there was only on or off, there was no in between.

Is that a JP tank on the Tri-Z? Thing looks sweet!

I will have a nice update for the Tecate here shortly. It is getting a braided steel front brake line to match the rear, radiator mounts repaired, footpeg sag fixed, tether kill switch installed, a 30 tooth rear sprocket, and a proper tune on the dyno. The plan is to get it into shape for running Pine Lake this year.

Due to the design of the Calfab on the Tri-z, I am unable to properly gear it for a track as large as Pine Lake using the Missle Engineering kit. So the plan is to put the 15" Hoosiers on the Tri-z and transfer the Missle Engineering Kit with the 12" Hoosiers onto the Tecate. I'm going to bring both of them to the race and see which one I turn faster lap times on in practice. At least that is the plan, lol.
