That's right! being called "historic and the history "when" trikes raced Baja is OVER!!!!!!!!

With the Help of Bill (awesome dude to work with in my experiences) from TPC Trikes, we have talked SCORE into letting us run the Baja series and that includes the famous Baja 1000!!!!!!

Requirements:
8-10 committed riders to the series (5 races. 1 in southern Cali, 4 in Baja)
missing a race for specific reason (important like emergency) is always understandable, but lets make sure we get to as many as possible as there are only 5 of them.

That is it!!!!!

Trikes must meet current SCORE tech standards (teather switch, tail light, brake light, headlights, ***should consider a horn***, solid supported frame, solid suspension.

guys this is no trail ride, this is SCORE, it will kick your @$$, eat you up and spit you out in pieces if you don't take care and properly prep. If you do this, You need to make dam sure you have a trike capable of finishing the race. If you need suspension talk to onformula1. He is actually a former Trike Baja racer. He can help build you a custom setup for around the same as getting yours redone with racetech parts. Race tech parts are Awesome and work amazing for out of the box operations. For Baja, you need a CUSTOM setup for you and your teammate.
Gusset the frame as much as needed. Use heavy duty skid plates (I prefer welding 1/8" steel plate with holes to the bottom of the frame for a frame skid and getting a 1/4" steel swinger skid made for handling the terrain and rocks. if you need help sourcing this let me know. and I'll help get you setup with it.

Guys, We would love to have a BIG showing out there, but let me be honest, your not going to be able to trail ride these races. You have only 12/24 hours to complete the race and the 1000 gives you only 36 hours total. Please make certain you are ready.

races are as follows:
2- 250 mile races, one in Southern Cali
2- 500 mile races, Baja
1- 1000 mile race, The Baja 1000 (mother load of racing)

I did it once, and I would never do it again. If you have never did it and you don't have the help needed to have a chase crew, you don't have a pre run bike to ride 200 miles a day for a week in advance chance are you will end up in the middle of no where wondering what the heck you are doing there. Honda spent $100,000 just for 3 teams to run this race in 83's, I can't even think how much it would cost today. Good luck!

Thank you sir! We welcome all recommendations and suggestions! I will certainly take note of this and ensure we have plenty of prep time as well as a proper setup to be supported.

THINKING IT WAS GOING TO BE A $50 k venture to say the least,, for a single machine team ,, 5 race series, going to take some serious machines and big bucks,,,
good luck in this,,, finding that many people and equipment is a very large commitment for sure,,
