Does anyone know how to machine a custom intake. I need one about 3/4" longer than stock to clear the starter on my super x. Or if there are any other options from a dirt bike or quad.

I don't have a mill at the moment, but it would not be that hard to make a 1" spacer out of aluminum plate or bar stock with basic hand tools.
Check a metal salvage yard for cheap materials.
I am working on getting a new mill, if I beat you to your issue I will hook you up. (I bet you beat me, sadly)

I have some scrap around the house that I can use for now. Once formed I can just hondabond to prevent any leaks. We will see.

I made a plate on my mill, used EMT tubing and tractor hose to fit a 32MM FCR on my 86/87 200X.
I also used Hondabond or 3bond on the plate one I fly cut it.
What carb are you trying to fit?
I could have just as easily made 2 plates with EMT between them but ya gotta have the tools...
