I recently posted about not having spark. I thought it was the coil but i ended up taking the stator cover off. When i took the stator cover off there was water pouring out. I cant pull the thing off and get to the stator until i get a puller. I was wondering if a stator gets wet is it still good? Is there anyway that i may be able to save the stator if it did.

YIKES ! yes the water inside will definitely cause no spark. Basically shorting out to ground. For a inexspensive pull please read post #9 in this link.

You storing it outside in the rain or something? That's a lot of corrosion. Only way to find out is to dry it out and try..

Bought my puller at Autozone. It is for a harmonic balancer or a steering wheel or something
