200X....stator cover full of oil

Over a quart of oil came out when I pulled the stator cover off to see why my spark is weak.

Is there a seal behind the flywheel and if so how would it get that full in there so quick?

The stock 83-85 200x's use a stator that gets oil in the assembly. This is 100% normal. If you have a auto-x ( these normally have a pull starter ) and your getting oil in the stator then you have a bad seal.

I knew a little oil is fine. The other trike gets a little in there but not even close to what came out of my nephews trike.

Maybe he overfilled it

I agree it should never just gush out unless it was over filled.
