I have an 86 250r, it has what I believe is a Motion pro twist throttle on it, it currently has the stock carb, I would like to purchase an PKW A/S, can someone tell me what size is acceptable to put on a stock bore, it does have an after market DG pipe and silencer otherwise is stock.. Will the throttle cable just hook right up like it does now?? I also may be purchasing a Paul turner high rev pipe, if that makes a difference, thanks guys

What do you plan to do with the trike most of the time? Your answer will determine either a 36 or a 38.

Just midwest trail riding, sometimes wide open fields, going to the dunes very very little.. Go Hawks.. watching them now

36 for more mid range, 38mm for more top end. With trail riding, I'd grab the 38, but I always look for the most power :-D

36 would do it for you. If you want more performance, a carb is something to complement a port job.

I had a 36 on my 85 250R that i had with a Paul Turner hi rev, stock bore/ stroke. I rode mostly trails amd was very happy with its performance. This combination worked well for me in what sounds like simi.lar riding conditions to you

For trails i'd go with a 36mm personally
