QB Keihin pumper carb, flapper choke.

Gas spits where it should when you press throttle, right down the throat
of the carb. No need for the 'real' choke.

DANGEROUS, because we all used to the slower response of
the oem NON accelerator pump carbs

sTARTS / RUNS FLAWLESSWLY.
mORE RESPONSIVE THAN ANY OF THE OTHER 20+250ES/SX i HAVE.

(SO SORRY, keyboard still glitchy.

No leaks, does NOT smoke at all. Smells great too.

Some recent post asked about replacing a carb. This one is a real kick.

So your burning that much oil? Top end rebuild time?

Great compression, runs and smells great. No evidence of leaking.
Same oil that we use on all the other trikes.
Oil doesn't smell diluted with gas.

Yeah, with that pumper carb it is kinda hard to keep off the throttle
but use use these for real farm type utility work so MAYbe 100 yards of fast
once a day but certainly no smoke.

crankcase vent where we can't see it dripping? and only when running
the field?

interesting for sure.

Even more interesting that I can't delete this double post.
Guess it's time to figure out which trike gets tools today.

Be safe and have fun everyone.
Thanks

check and see if your rear end is super full of oil, if you can't see it leak but it is going somewhere, that is where I would check. If your middle drive shaft seal went bad it would leak down into the rear end.

I would check the question. What's the problem? what are the symptoms? You've described what your doing and what you have done. But not the problem.

Can you go into detail what is going on? Is it smoking when running? idling?

well either your leaking it or burning it.... and as they say in the harley community "better to leak it than burn it" only problem with that is today even shop rite motor oil is 3.29 per quart. Reminds me of the days we used fox head and pathmark motor oil
on motors that had blow by.....
