I have two used heads. I'm swapping the rocker arms / cams from one to the other. It is a 225dx.
Do I need cam lube when I do the swap? I have some MPZ cam lube. Will that even work?
I'd like to know your thoughts of when it is appropriate to use cam lube. Would it hurt to coat it with some MPZ?

I would
Takes too long to pump oil up there on startup. I would goop the hell out of it all. I always do but I have Redline brand cam lube. Any cam lube should work

I use the lube that you use on crane cams...any cam lube will work. It's pure moly and some of the best stuff when breaking in a cam.

All of the parts are already broken in. They aren't new. Does that matter. If not, I plan on putting some on it. I figured it wouldn't hurt, right.

Doesn't matter. Good stuff to use.
