Ordered 85-86 rear Maier Plastic, where do I mount original rear fender brace, I' so fu..cking pissed off right now.. I love hearing from people on this forum, " accepts original hardware" why wont my fu..ing fender brace go on then.. I really only want to hear from people with 250r's that have after market plastic, not from any arm chair specialists...

I don't use the stock fender brace on mine. really don't need it.

As stated, don't use it, there is no need. One of the first things that went in the parts box when these came out of the dealerships.

Yup I took those off when I got my maiers plastics.. no need for them.

It's one of my biggest problems with the maier rears. They flop around like a wet blanket when you ride.

I dont use the brace on mine either. I didnt want to drill holes in them for the bracket anyways... Good luck
