I bought a bundle of parts for the 86 Tecate & don't know what this spring is for. Can someone ID this spring for me?

My guess is that it's the rear brake petal spring.:wondering
Before I got the bundle of parts I ordered a kx125 spring after reading nd4speedz swap thread. The kx125 spring is the smaller new spring in the pic.

The springs look to have the same circumference but the gauge & ends are not the same.

What is it?

Yes its the spring for the foot barake, one hole goes in the frame the other in the pedal

So the kx125 spring is not the same as the 86 Tecate spring. To me it looks very flimsy & would loose its rebound or return ability very fast. I'll post up a better pic of the kx125 next to the 86 Tecate spring in a min.

Here's a few closer pics of the Kawasaki rear brake lever springs.
The dirty springs are the 86 Tecate ones, & the new one is the 86 kx125 spring.

Im still trying to find a metal finisher to replace my small hardware including the springs.

it might be part of a KX125 drum brake rear setup.

The brake pedal spring in my swap thread for KX125 250 500 is directly from part numbers from Kawasaki.

The 1985 models had drum brakes and springs on those. Other than that foot peg springs.
