I ordered these for my 1986 Tecate, Do these fit my Trike?? I was assured they would fit but I measured the diameter of my Tecate rim and its 10inches, I think the tire has a 9inch Diameter

If the tire is 9in there is no way it will fit on a 10in rim. Check your order to see the tire size you ordered.

That is the suitable rim width. The diameter is 9in.

The inside diameter of my tecate rear rim is 10 5/8 the measurement outside lip to lip is 11 inches, how am I going to get a 9inch diameter tire around that rim, seems like it will be very difficult to mount, can anyone confirm

You need 9inch wheels. These are a reproduction replacement for an OEM Ohtsu tire on the Honda 250R, all of which came equipped from the factory with 9inch wheels.

Sadly those 9" diameter tires will not fit on 10" Tecate rims

You could switch to Honda hubs and 9 inch rims though.

Thank you nd4speed, I was afraid of that, is there a tire out there that looks like the cheetah that will work on the Tecate

He also lied and said he had some one else's 450 trike in the thread where he lied and said he invested 80k to have the tires reproduced. Sketchy at best, scammer at worst.

I've never gotten an answer on why he was using the TPC picture.

That being said, the big issue was no one thought he was actually making the tires, and here they are. So I thought that deserved a little bit recognition for the balls to make that happen and despite a lot of nay sayers saying there was no way he was getting a new tire molded.

I picked up a set and was happy to see them on my doorstep.

Getting some new rims for the 450R in a week and will get them mounted for riding this summer, but you're
right 9" rim only.

I purchased a set of Cheetahs for my '85 R. Love them. No regrets - easy transaction and excellent correspondence with seller. All questions answered professionally and promptly. Only tread pattern, in my opinion, that looks correct on the '85 - '86 R. Will purchase a front tire when they are in production - hopefully this fall.

because the tires exist is not proof positive that he had anything to do with it, much less that he ponied up 85k of his own $. i don't know why this bothers me as much as it does, but it does. maybe i'm too cynical. liars tend to lie. just my experience. so much of how the whole situation developed leads me to think that something stinks. i'm not asking for proof of anything. i don't need anything. for all i know the joker is not even affiliated with the tire production. i just know that i've seen enough to stay away.
