Anybody have any idea how much horsepower these made? 1984 vintage.

Thought the engine would work good in a go-kart.

Well I'm not quite sure, but the 90's had 7 and 110's have around 9 I believe, so the 125 should have around 11...12 maybe?

That's what I was thinking. That would make a ripping kart with 3 speeds and an auto cluth.

A foot of travel at each end, yee haw.

No way it is 12. The 110's have 5 or 6 according to wickedfinger and a 200x was like 12 so i would say like 8 maybe ...or 7

According to Honda, the US 90 had 7 hp and I was going from there, I don't really know.

3 speeds and an auto cluth.
They have a 4 speed dual range.

Officially introduced to America in 1970, the US 90 sent its 7 horsepower through a dual-range four-speed gearbox with automatic clutch, and sold for $595. It was renamed the ATC90 later that year as Honda trademarked the ATC name. Three models carried that Honda ATC monogram through the 1970s. The ATC70 gave younger riders a scaled-down version of the fat-tire experience. And by the end of the decade, requests for more power turned the original ATC90 into the ATC110 in 1979. The ATC was as evolutionary as it was revolutionary from the beginning. (Courtesy: American Honda Motor Co.)

.. From what Ive gathered, the earliest scooter motored US90's had 7hp, with the later models having 6. I've seen The 110 rated at 7-8hp, and the 70 having 3 1/2, the horizontal cylinder 125m 8hp (I have no idea what the upright 1986 125m's HP rating is), the 185S motor 9hp, the 200S 10hp, the 192 cc 200X motor had 12hp, the 199cc 200X motor 14hp. The 2 valve 250 class shaft motor had 15hp, the 4 valve 250X motor 16hp.
