350x grab bar question

Hello are the grab bars interchangeable between years? I'm hearing the 86 is different...need confirmation.

The grab bars are different based on the pics I've seen on e-bay. THe 85 style (the style I've had on all my machines) has a short metal tube in the grabbar at each of the 4 mounting locations with a rubber grommet installed. The ones I've seen on e-bay listed as 86 don't have the tube/grommet.

However, if I look in the parts catalog, both years call for the same grommets, so I'm not sure.

The frame area where the grab bar mounts is the same (based on my observation of the two frames side by side). My conclusion is that you can interchange them. I think the toolbox mounting hardware will be different between the two years if you are trying to mount that.

Also note that 200x used the same grab bar, but was chrome plated instead of black like the 350x.
