Well i fell in love with a ugly beast

bought a yamaha 225 dx, its ugly but it runs like a dream, girl friend doesnt know it yet lol but who cares it was only 275 bucks! I did its firat run today and i cant be happier, just need a new rear fender because i got mud all over me haha i love it

What are some good upgrades for this?

I think you did great. The tires alone are worth the money. I have a seat I could sell to you for a very decent price. I actually have two you could pick from. One of them I'll let go dirt cheap (its gray with White YAMAHA logo).... Will be much better than that. The other is black with a gold YAMAHA logo. Let me know if you are interested and I'll get you some pictures.

I would keep it stock and get plastics / decals / headlight etc. Might end up being worth a good bit more than what you put into it.

I will be looking for a new one soon, i will definitely keep you in mind when i come around to buying one! I am very pleased with this trike and how it performed today, my plans are to keep it stock for the most part
