Hey guys. So this new trike I got (84 200s) has an aftermarket carb on it, and I can't find anything on the Internet about it. It looks identical to the stock Honda one, and the only words I see on it are "ISO Performance". I don't know anything about it and was hoping someone could enlighten me on it. For all I know it could be a Chinese knockoff or the highest end carb on the market, I have no idea. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

OEM STD is the brand, there is nothing OEM about it, it's a Chinese brand.

Are you sure? There's no Chinese writing anywhere on it, it's all English. Every other Chinese knockoff I've seen has Chinese letters or whatever and this one doesn't.

Don't let them fool you man, if you were selling something notorious for being cheap, wouldn't you want it to look like the real thing?? Looks like their sales pitch is working.

So if it is Chinese, should I replace it or not even bother? I do have the original Honda one as well, but I would have to clean it and all that if I wanted to use it. Should I even bother? The Chinese one is clean and looks to be in fine condition.

IF, the trikes works well with the carb, why wouldn't you just use it?

I would clean the oem carb. Just had the same issue with 200sx build. I went with the carb with real part numbers on it. Just because it is clean on the outside doesn't mean it is going to work.

yep, just clean it and you should be good. not all Chinese stuff is junk. honestly I am starting to see so many extra parts that are decent and cheap that sometimes it's easier to get a new one for not much more than a rebuild kit for your old stocker.
I would just take it apart, clean everything, spray it out with cleaner very well and ensure your idle jet is spotless. then re-assemble. but before you do, here's a small trick I leanred on used parts, spray them with wd-40 before re-assembly it keep shte O-rings fresher and less likely to crack so easily.

Its a win cycles carburetor. They are actually really good carbs. I run them on two of my bikes and I haven't had any trouble.

I did just that, last two were Chinese carbs and work just fine. Less expensive than a
kehein rebuild kit.
