Ok i have an issue with my 110 carb, it was last ridden about 3 weeks ago and put up, no fuel leaks to be seen. I started it last night for the first time since then, and gas was pouring from the drain line on the bottom of the carb. Tried tightening the screw a bit, didn't help at all, so i pulled the screw out, and polished the sealing end with some 2000 grit sandpaper. It didn't have any grooves in it like most i come across, just a mark where it seats. Put it back together to still have it leak. Is there any tricks to get it to seal up without using silicone? I'm not afraid to goop it up but id rather not.

I should add I've had this thing off and cleaned it and checked to make sure the float is set right, and not sticking. Everything seems fine there, it just dribbles out of the line when the petcock is on.

Tap on the carb with a wrench . Your float has to be sticking or the float needle valve isnt seating. Make sure the lil rubber tip looks good on it.
