As a few of you already know I bought the Tiger 500 that was found in NC. I thought I would post up a build thread as I know some of you like to follow along. I know I paid an awful lot of money for this roller but I miss the first 500 I built.
Here is a picture of the 500 loaded on the back of my truck in NC after hitting the salvage yard where this 500 was found. I will be adding more pics of the finds at the salvage yard and the rebuild of the 500.
Is that the one that James was selling?

Congratulations on the acquisition. Don't think you should feel bad about the purchase price, not like they come up for sale very often. Who knows, could be several years before we see another Tiger 500 as complete as yours available for purchase. Have fun with the restoration, and even more fun riding it!

I'm glad to be back I bought the 500 motor off ebay that was totally rebuilt with nos parts that should show up within a week while waiting on that I will try to get the molds made to make a vaccum formed copy of the fenders with a more pliable material so these awesome machines can be rode and enjoyed with out compromising oem plastics

oh yeah. after careful vetting, i decided dale was the man of high moral fiber with a true trike obsession to take this tiger to the place it needs to be... roaming the snowy streets of north dakota! :D
