Has anyone tried one of these? Started to pop for a used one and then seen this on feebay. Anyone had/have one of these? Lost my starter button this wkd and the rest is well 30 yrs old. Soooo Looking for feedback from someone who actually tried/has one if possibly.
Thanks

Direct fit normally means after market but hooks up & mounts the same as OEM. Just like you can get a direct fit muffler at Auto Zone but it no a GM muffler.

Repops for sure but a few guys have bought these for other trikes and had no functional issues with them. For 68 bucks, it might be worth the risk.

that looks like it woudl work and for the price, it's pretty good. i have rebuilt many switches for people over the years. that woudl help a ton to have somethign new.

Price is good...I PM'ed a guy on FB That was willing to go at $50 on a used one. But I decided to check feebay before he got back to me and this was there @ $58.95 shipped. And, it's all pretty and shiny! I'll give it till this evening sometime to see if anyone has tried one. If not...I just may become the first reviewer.

Nice. I bought the 86/87 200X one and it looks and functions great! I think you'll be very happy.

I don't want to use the 2 NOS ones I have; Someone will make my investment worthwhile someday :D

Found it! Seems there was some "issues" with cosmetics but still there was no feed back on functionality. Those that have seen my trike know I'm far from a resto on this one. Especially after this wkd lol. Anyway, here is the previous thread on the same topic.

I bought one for my 1985 330R build. Looks great, they model the liquid cooled R's switch after the 86, which looks quite a bit more modern I think, and better.

We will see how she works.

These reproduction switches work great but don't expect them to work for 30 years like OEM HONDA. I bought the 200X & 250R switches and they worked well and look very close to original . The on/off switch isn't as tight as OEM and the lettering needs to be painted a little better but it's not a issue at all, just fill the lettering with Bright orange silicone or paint. I'm glad they made these, at least we have an option now.

Well strike one on the switch housing. Came over the wkd and when I opened it up the choke "knob" is missing. Just emailed the seller through ebay to see what they are willing to do to resolve the issue. I'll keep ya updated when I know more.210108210107

Emailed seller through ebay with pics. Responded in less than 24 hrs with offer to exchange or 50% refund. They are also willing to refund return shipping. Just dropped it at PO today (I'd rather have it complete) so again I will wait. At least they seem willing to make it right.

That little choke slide knob DOES fall off. I'd but a dab of Shoe Goo on it and rock away!! Amazon has Shoe Goo and you will be amazed at the product.

Received replacement in new condition over the wkd. looks to be all there this time. They shipped it back parcel post so it was slow getting back but they did honor the return policy. Once they received the damaged one a new shipped the following day. They also refunded my return shipping into my PayPal. Other than quality control out the door it has been a good experience with great communication. Will get it put on and try it in the coming weeks and report back as to how it performs.

I agree it was a longer turn around and if it was a situation where I needed to it to ride I suppose I'd be more upset. But after hearing some of the eBay horror stories on defective items and the hassle to return an item I still gave them positive feedback for making it right at no cost to me even if it was a 2 week turnaround.
