200x spark advance, how to set timing?

hi i have 2 big red motors, one highly modded one stock. i checked the manual but it does not say where to place the spark advance unit (it rotates) and want to get max performance out of the modded motor, any input would be appreciated as im worried my timing could be off even though it runs great.

Ok There is no set place for the advancer you have to get a timing light to set your engine correctly.

Oh and if your engine are running great and idling correctly the timing is correct.
