tri-z noise clutch?

Was out having fun on the ice until my z started making a bit of a wine in the tranny. unless it was in neutral with clutch pulled in. Any suggestions

Too hard to guess. Are you sure it wasn't making the noise before? They have straight cut gears and can whine a bit. If you're sure something suddenly changed you'd best tear it down starting with the clutch to see that the backing plate isn't coming loose.
