Hi guys, I wanted to start a thread where anyone can post pictures of there 250r's. I find when I am building bikes I sometimes like to see what different color combo or polished or chrome combo or a blacked out combo. I have seen some of the most beautiful R's here on this site. I think it would be cool if we could have a section of the site to post pics and make them easy to find. I just get tired of going through thread after thread to look at different 250r's to see what combos I like or products I like or what color should I do the frame and plastics. With that said I would like to see all year 250r's even quads if you got them. And yes 500 conversions, 450 hybrids, 300cc, 360 Mugen, and 480r machines are welcome. So with that said I will start off. Please give a small description on your trike with what's been done.

Here is my 1985 250r, currently its tore down to change a lot of stuff and a change in color scheme. It had a esr exhaust, 6" Lonestar swingarm, Ported & Polished Cylinder, 39mm Carb, IMS Black tank, and Maier Yellow plastics that I ordered from Maier in 2003. I went to do a invert conversion and there it sits.

I guess this one might fit the criteria. Its a 83 CR250 frame modded with 85 ATC 250r rear frame powered by a 83 CR250. Has a short track tank and TRX/ATC 250r Swingarm and axle setup with either a 200x/Aircooled 250r forks. Currently it will be restored soon.

Hopefully trikefest but I always have to work so probably the badlands . Only regret I never could find my holy grail an ohlins shock . Thanks for all the help over the years 3wheeler world.

and the Seat is going to be a Hi-Flite Desert seat. Engine and swinger will be red, also going back to the stock front rim.

Red rider.... That thing is sick!!!! Question... Not to get off topic, but why did you use 85 forks vice 125 or 250's? How much travel is there?Thank you! I used 85SX forks because they are 43mm diameter, almost identical in length to the stock forks, yet provide 1" more travel for a total of 10.8". I weigh about 180lbs. with full riding gear, so getting some custom, heavier springs that still fit inside was no problem. When you go with 125/250 forks, they typically need to be shortened, but finding appropriate springs for them is a breeze. Most heavier riders prefer the 125/250 forks.

Here's my 86 250R. Engine is stock with a Paul Turner high rev pipe, K&N air filter and +4 swingarm. I've had it for 13 years and it still runs great. These days it's usually the spare bike on our dune trips and this last year when we were at Winchester Bay my wife and buddies girlfriend ended up taking turns riding it while the girlfriends bike was getting worked on. Now for the first time in 6 years my wife actually likes riding 3 wheelers.http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc519/twittle81/Mobile%20Uploads/01F64770-B9DB-40DD-822E-E7E8B3EA4012_zpsbrxzc1gh.jpg (http://s1215.photobucket.com/user/twittle81/media/Mobile%20Uploads/01F64770-B9DB-40DD-822E-E7E8B3EA4012_zpsbrxzc1gh.jpg.html)

The second R I have, I did a frame-up refresh on 2 winters ago. I have a build thread on it here: http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/149507-Well-it-starts-85-ATC250r-resto-mod
This one isn't as heavily modded as the other. But I still have some unfinished business with it I want to settle as my finances allow. It's basically a stock engine with the following:
-PWK 36
-Boyesen reedblock
-Full FMF exhaust
-RPM Dominator axle
-350x front wheels all the way around (I like 350x wheels)
-Maier plastic all around including Low-pro rears, I bought for it back in 1995!
Nothing real radical, but it was good to get this R running again after so many years. I owned this trike when I was in high school. Sold it in '97 and after 4 more owners and about 12 years or so it came back to me all beat up and needing alot of work. I have to give alot of credit to the members here for setting me up with so many parts for such good prices! This is the first place I go when I need parts. :)

Here is my 83 that has a Hondaline 300 kit. Ported, Bills pipe and 38mm carb. My frame broke right in front of the engine. To get the engine out for the frame repair I had to take the cylinder off so I decided to do a top end while I was at it. Found that this 300 kit was on the original bore and the piston shows a considerable amount of ring blow-by. I have all the parts, engine work and gaskets ready to put back together. Can't wait to ride it next weekend to see how much more power it has with a fresh top end.

Hello all,
I just picked this machine up from the original owner. This is my first 250R :)

The bike was sitting since 2002 in a shed. As you can see from the picture, it needs some work and I'm looking for the following parts:
Original seat
Rear grab bar
Factory silencer
Tail light cover
Extra set of factory rear wheels
Would like to find someone who would be willing to barter as I have some Big Red 250ES parts.
