Mickey's 85/86R fiberglass lo pro repro thread got me thinking. Figured id put this out there to gauge interest.
I'm wondering if anyone is interested in reproducing any other fiberglass fenders for any other bikes. I happen to have the following fiberglass fenders that i would be happy to LEND out to a CREDIBLE source to have them reproduced:
81/82 250R atc front fender thick fiberglass
81/82 250R atc front fender vented, thin fiberglass
81/82 250R atc rear render, thick fiberglass
81/82 250R atc rear fender, thin fiberglass
1983-1985 200X atc rear fender. OEM spec, not Lo pro. looks stock, but made of fiberglass
1983/1984 250R ATC SRP Lo pro rear fender
1985/1986 250R atc front fender OEM spec, thin fiberglass.
to be clear, im not interested in selling any of these, just lending them out so that someone can reproduce them. I'm also not interested in putting my own $$ up to repro these. It took lots of $$ collectively to acquire all of these fenders in the first place.
I'll provide the fender to be reproduced, just hook me up with a new fender from your reproduction run.

I think I found some atc 90 fiberglass fenders in good shape.
They go with a trike I have but would also loan them if it makes sense.
Must've been an early production year as all my others are plastic.

I would certainly be interested in doing it. But would need to investigate shipping. Money tight for me at moment. I have alot of fiberglass experience and have successfully made a 84 front mold. Did ok on the rear mold but was using a badly broken fender to make the mold which made the mold need more fixing than it is worth. A fellow member on here I am friends with has 84 srp low pros and he has offered them to me but they are damaged in a few spots that really make me worry about being able to separate the 2 pieces safely. If yours have no damage then I know I can make it work for sure.
Main problem is I am not set up for doing gel coat. With the new plastic paints being decent I was just going to use those but to make a really nice product I think it necessary. I just don't have the money right now to invest in the mold release chemicals and gel coat. When just using fiberglass you can get by with a good auto wax with the right ingredients but to get gel coat to adhere properly you have to use the right chemicals.
I will get some pics up of my work.

Well I have had a few people ask about them, but no big response. I haven't really pushed for it right now either because I got a ton of 85'-86's to get done still.
