Best thing is just to stand it up on end inside and let it drain/dry in between rides, if it just stays wet over and over again it'll get moldy and will stink lol, happened to my quad seat

Maybe drill a couple of small at the lowest point where it can drain when stood up

OP,
are you submerging your seat in the water or something? it is not normal for a seat to take on water like that unless your habitually submerging it.
if you are, then maybe you should re-think your definition of riding. as these are ATCs not submarines. :p They are meant for mud, muck, and dirt or roads not swimming in the lake because it is cool but hey that's me.

I wonder if the spray on waterproofer stuff would work. I think it's sold for leather boots.

Spray it with rubberized undercoating.

Maybe that flex seal stuff you see on TV. You can buy it at Walmart even. Spray it on the foam, it will retain its flexibility, waterproof it. Is that the stuff you guys are thinking of?

I've seen them demonstrate that stuff a while back. Really is neat stuff. I'd buy it just to play with it. Is it available for purchase yet?
I mean that flex seal would probably work but is not nearly as neat and clean as that stuff. I mean I don't know if they have a clear version. (Not like it matters it won't be seen underneath a seat cover). Whichever is the best bang for your buck I guess. As long as you don't ruin your foam, stuff isn't cheap to get made.

I don't know about the US, but we have it in Mexico, I'll post up a video if I can find it. It's made by one of our suppliers down here. I want to soak a roll of toilet paper with it one day and put it in a gas station washroom. Wait for the youtube video!:naughty:

yes but it's kind of hard to find, it's only sold at every walmart and hardware store in the country. http://www.lowes.com/Search=rustoleum+never+wet?storeId=10151&langId=-1&catalogId=10051&N=0&newSearch=true&Ntt=rustoleum+never+wet#!
