83/84 250r Foot pegs

I had done a search on here for foot peg ideas for my 83 250r. I came up with a thread about putting 450 foot pegs on the earlier bike. So I went on e bay and searched and came up with some yfz450 pegs that looked like they would work pretty good. Picked a set up for $20.00 used and then decided to cut some of the mounting plate off of them and with an extra set of stock foot pegs I cut the foot peg portion off of the Honda ones. I then had a friend weld the yfz peg to the Honda mounting portion. Here are a few pics of what it ended up like. The first is the pegs from e- bay. Then comes the stock pegs from two different points and then the modified one from the same two points of reference.

Hope this helps some one who might be looking for a cheap wider peg for their 83/84 trike.
