Looking for some referrals for a place that can rezinc some 200x hardware. I have never done this before seen pictures and would like to give it a shot for this project.

I dont know if its available in different colors or which to ask for would like to replicate the original bolt and axle finishes . Can this be done even if the hardware is rusted ?

Thanks for any tips !

I'm having an axle re plated but in yellow zinc. At a place near York, Pa. I can let you know how it turns out.I'm going to have some hardware done if it the axle looks good. The plater I went to can't do the black like on the shock reservoir clamp
and some of the hardware, though.

I recently had my +4 axle zinc plated in black at bass PLating here in CT, along with all of its hardware for $50. it came out pretty awesome

it prob would be a good chunk of change to ship your axle up here but I was very happy with the job they did.

There are allot of guys on this forum that had this work done and they were happy with the results.

Nice zinc chromate?? or yellow zinc looks fantastic.

Flying W did something like 50lb boxes of bolts and brackets and I bought some from Jim for the 350RX build and they look factory great!!

Very fair prices as well!!

^ I just looked at your black, looks great!! That isn't for a show bike, just a solid rider that you can actually get apart again!

I found the yellow isn't consistent in coverage on the older bolts. It is like mostly yellow and the rest is silver.
Now I am getting everything in Silver (clear) and it has been perfect so far. That black looks pretty neat, but my
place only does yellow and clear.

Even if it is rusted they blast the bad stuff and then clean all the bolts up in Acid first and then plate them. You can see my
axle in the first shot before it was plated in Clear.
