atc pricing crazy. Should I sell my 350x?

anyone else expedience ATC pricing rage? i mean right now on CL in my area a guy is asking $2k for a 200x. nice shape but not $2k worth. a 83R is going for $1800 in meh shape not even nice.
i have a guy wanting to give me $1k for my 85 350x that needs to be restored. has factory plastics in great shape and good compression but tank is bad and carb needs cleaning and muff is shot. still good re-builder. should i let it go for $1k?

wow, any 200x in oregon is 300$-800$ tops great cond, the air cooled r's 500- 1000$ max, watercooled brings more, 350x's bring decent money if there nice. 1k seems like good money if you do NOT plan to use it!

But can you replace your 350x for 1000 dollars. Just like my 86 125m in really great shape bikes just like mine are going for 2000 to 2500. That's a great price and all but I couldn't ever replace that bike.

This must just be a regional thing. Here in SoCal a water pumper goes for between 1k to 2k there is a real nice 85 for 1300 on my local CL right now. I just bought a real nice 86 250R for a grand on Monday. A 200x will get around 500 to 750 out here and a 350x 1k to 2k. Sure there are a ton of guys asking outrageous prices but there bikes sit unsold for up to a year.

Sell it and come to CA and score another or three.

^ yea i am thinking that. maybe get a 250sx like i always wanted. then drop a 300motor in it and poof! set for life.


Hey atcryder250, if I find a decent 250sx in your area (let me know your area) if I payed a fee would you investigate it and let me know a thumbs up on it or not?

If there is one to be found close to me and I'm off work I'd look at it. Sport trikes are easier to come by out here but I have seen a few 250sx. There is one about 2hrs SW from me not sure if its a fair deal at a grand.

yea same here. it;s like anything east of AZ thinks they are the bomb or something.
