Son got a great deal on his first atc (bought himself) an 82r. I have a few questions. It has what we believe to be a Mikuni 30mm 2 stroke carb. Although the identification number on side says T140.
1. I thought the 40 meant the mm size but everything I look for shows the 40 as being a dual carb? Is this the correct designation for this carb (40mm)?
2. I am having issues with the proper jet settings are. Like for example idle 1/2 turn out from seated position etc..
3. Is this carb OK to run? I though people were running bigger carbs after big bore kits or engine performance mods?
4. Anyone run this carb on an R?

Bike bandit shows it as well but list it in 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 26mm, 30mm, 36mm, 38mm, 44mm which confuses me even more because it does not show the 40mm
