Started riding on my 1981 ATC110 when I was 8 and used this site back when it started. I'm now 23 and decided it was time to get back in the world of three wheelin! I just picked up a 1983 ATC 200x for $150. After a carb cleaning, re-timing (for some reason the cam gear was off by a tooth), adjustment of the timing chain tension and a few oil changes, she starts first kick and runs good on the stand. Now I need to buy some tires, re-do the brake system, replace a (or both) front fork(s), and install an air filter or new air box assembly and she'll be ready to ride.

Few things I was wondering about:

What are my front brake options?

I'm going to buy a new brake master cylinder for the front brake system, I figured pretty much any fixed reservoir handlebar brake MC will work (motorcycle, ATC, ATV, etc). My front rotor is bent and shot and I assume the caliper needs to be rebuild or replaced. Is there a good swap option I can use to save money from going with OE?

What are my rear brake options?

The rear brake system is completely gone. No pedal, no MC, no rotor, no caliper, nothing. I don't need the silly parking brake feature. Again, is there a good swap option for that as well? I was think 300ex rear brake setup maybe...

Front forks...

One is bent and has rusted through at the bottom and no longer holds compressed air or fork oil. Should I stick with OE forks or are there some dirtbike forks that are cross compatible?

Air box?

The air box assembly is completely gone. I do mostly trail and dirt riding so I'm worried about just putting a cone filter straight to the carb as it will be susceptible to water and mud. I was thinking about fabbing a custom housing around the cone filter but figured it might be easier just to buy the stock assembly off ebay or something. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tires...

I'm looking at running 20x11x8 Holeshots in the rear and 23x8x11 Kenda K284 Max tire up front.

Also, I will probably end up buying a carb rebuild kit just cause the carb was so gunked and corroded. Any suggestion on where to buy and what size jetting I should run? It know the jetting will depend on the style air box I use, additionally I will most likely end up replacing the exhaust system will a used DG or something of that nature off ebay.

Basically I'm looking for you're input, opinions and suggestions. I have a general idea but it's a lot easier and cheaper to do it right the first time then troubleshoot and go through used parts trying to find something that fits perfect. Obviously sticking with OE would be foolproof but [arts for OE parts for these seem to be priced pretty high.
