Tecate impeller seal

Is there a trick to get one of these in without the special tool? Had creamy tranny oil.

shouldnt be anything tricky, they do have some springs in them to keep the seal riding on the shaft. All my tecate motors seemed to leak coolant into the trans past this seal at some point in their life. The seals are easy to get, but it seems the shafts develop grooves from the seals riding on them.

I seem to remember just prying mine out with a screwdriver.
