For I am not a body man, BUT this would be my thought. Weld a rod to it, and try to pull the dent out, Or some type of a dent puller?

you could fill it up with water and freeze it.

you could fill it up with water and freeze it. Heard of this being done with dented gas tanks and they had decent results. Not sure if it would work on a pipe.

How much room do you have to work with? you could heat it up and maybe pound it into shape.

Wow, freeze it? I have never thought of something like that, it should work as long as both ends are sealed. I think you can take it to a special shop, where the do some kind of high pressure thing to a pipe, that is suppossed pop the dents back out from the inside. I dont know if there is such a thing, but for some reason I think I may have heard of this before, but I may be wrong. Take it to an auto or welders shop, and see what they suggest.

There are shops that specialize in this exact repair. Look in the back of some motocross magazines like dirt rider or dirt bike etc.

Theres a guy that advertises in my FTR (Florida Trail Riders) member magazine called "The Duke Of Dent Pipe Repair" I'm sure theres other places like it as Curtis suggested.

2 solutions:
Tack weld a stud in the middle of the dent, or if it's a long dent, multiple studs. Attach a dent puller and work it out. Cut studs and grind smooth.
Or, cut the pipe across the dent, and work out the 2 halves to the orig. shape and reweld the pipe together.

If you do this, make sure you mark the pipe so when rewelded back together the halves match back up and are in the right attitude.
This is probably how the "duke of dent repair" does most of his repairs.

I am no pipe expert, But I am good with metal. If All else fails. I will fix the pipe for you for no costs. Did I tell you I got the one on the TECATE to work? The FMF pipe is bent, it just needs to be bent a little bit to make work. :D I am waiting on my silencer before I do the bending.
