I am in search of drag tires for my Tecate 3. The motor is built (305 BB, KX jug, Lectron, Sprock head/intake, +6 Westcoast, OOF Shearer pipe, etc). It would be mainly used for dirt. I wanted to try a set of Pro Wedge 2s 22X11X8 but they are no longer made. I have been looking for a few months with no luck. Last week I lucked out and found a set on eBay. Bought them immediately and the seller contacted me and said that he cant find them. So now I am right back where I was.
I did find these on eBay. They almost look like a cheap knock off of the Wedges or 4-Snows but a 4-ply.

Also can anyone give me feedback on the 4-Snows? I heard they dont hook up as well as the Wedges but I dont have any experience with either. Any other tire I should be looking at?

I never drag raced, but I use 4-snow every winter in the snow and they hook up very well. Mount them backward right when you'll buy them and you'll have little more traction than if you mounted them the "standard" way. Tried them last summer with my 200x on dirt and I almost wasn't able to drift, the front end was always coming up! But I guess your tecate will spin them a loooot easier. So good tire , go for them.

I am guessing I will pick up a set of 4-Snows and try them. Which way are most guys running them?

Try them backward in dirt. If the dirt you drag race on is hard, I'll try them mounted backward

Just picked up a set of Wedges on eBay. They are on Honda rims which fit my Lonestar axle.
