I was wondering if there is someone on the site that rebuilds engines or where is everyone taking or sending their engines to get rebuilt. I cant seem to find anyone around my area that wants to rebuild my 350x engine let alone modify it a touch. some direction on this would be greatly appreciated thanks everyone.

Have you tried any performance shops in Oregon? Oregon Coast Powersports & LED Performance are both very good places to have work done and there are quite a few others also that I would think should have no problem working on a 350x engine. Oregon has a lot of good builders just start calling around.

I don't know if Powroll is building motors or not.

Probably need to go a little farther away then, if they don't want the business then I wouldn't bother with them. Arlan at LED has been working on bikes for a long time and if nothing else could probably recommend someone closer to you. I would definitely look into Powroll like Mickey said also.

As twittle said, LED Performance located in Gresham Oregon will do it, great to work with.

i redo motors on my spare time. i am not a pro shop but have a lot of time doing motors myself and have hi-tech shops i work with.
unless you got deep pockets, i would recommend a stock rebuild (mostly top end unless crank bearings feel worn) and do a wiseco piston and web cam with upgraded rockers and springs. then bigger carb and better exhaust. that will help a ton and still be reliable for years to come.
hit me up if you are interested we can discuss costs and such. again i am not a shop just a guy helping fellow trikes. I charge about $150 labor and you pay actual parts costs. so i don't make any big money and don't do hourly charges.

ehhm, Dirk D (LOL) it's oscarmAyer. sing the sing!! ;-) LOL
yea man, it's not a problem. you can send it to me if ya want. I charge nothing extra for parts (if you have soem parts you can send them with them motor) i only make about $150 my own labor on the rebuilds. The reason why is I love these old machines and I want to see them stay running. It is also very relaxing for me to redo these old motors. so i don't mind helping.
