What will cause my engine to foul sparkplugs under a load? My motor is rebuilt and so is the carb. It just started doing this all of a sudden before I rebuilt it.Please help. Any comments and help is appreciated. :(

ignition system, wrong plug, bad carb setting, clogged pipe, dirty air filter, low compression, bad seals

Yes, Years of 2 Stroke oils, smoke All kinds of crud gets clogged up in the pipe. I had a polaris that did this once. I was told by the local polaris mechanic to BURN it out. LOL I fileld the piep full of solvent, gas and a few other chemicals, then Repeatedly blew it out with my torch, WOW was that a big flame. anyway After I got it all burnt out, it ran liek a top again.
my 2 cents, Tyler

The pipe or the silencer? Is there any way to tell if its clogged?

Probably the pipe, you could try running it without the silencer, and see if that helps, or you could take your pipe off and look/blow through it I guess.

I think I got it running. I switched the carb minus jets from my 84 KXT. I think it'll run now. I'll let you know.
