1984 200m axle thread size

Hey,

Would anyone know what size threads are on the end of the rear axle ? The threads for the wheel nut....

I messed the threads up a little and if I could find a die maybe I could repair them

From the parts catalog, it is 14mm, but I can't locate the thread pitch.

From the parts catalog, it is 14mm, but I can't locate the thread pitch. Based on some google searching, if it is like some other machines it is 1.5 pitch (but I didn't explicitly find numbers for a 200M, nor have I measured my own). So I think a high probability is M14 x 1.5 , hopefully somebody else can chime in and confirm.

EDIT:
1. Sorry for the double post.
2. If you are handy with a triangular file and depending on how boogered the threads are, you can clean up threads using the file.

I think the hardware store might have a thread measureing tool....I will see if they are m14x1.5
