85 250r petcock rebuild

I got my r out and after sitting for 4 years, I put fuel in it and was leaking bad. I figure there is an o ring at the base where the flange connects to the fuel tank. Is there another gasket where the on off res valve is? I did not see one one bike bandit.

Did you even look at Jims microfiche picture or perhaps read his comment above? The items you supposedly need are 6 and 9 in the microfiche.

hmmm what about #6 and #11 on trx fiche? (part id as #11 on trx) is also listed on atc250r 85 86 models fiche as #2 ....
who is reading what here ? #9 is trx only i think........

Well I know I need the base o ring and X-ring because it leaks in both spots. Is that all the gaskets I will need? Thanks for everyone's help BTW

Yes. I think the base o ring is shot and the lever really never used to shut off the gas so I think X ring is gone too.

On the 85-86 ATC its one piece. I am not aware of it being rebuild-able. Look at the microfiche below.

Honda doesn't list the O rings or the #6 gasket seal for an atc250r but the TRX250r O rings work LOL . The # 6 GASKET, PETCOCK
16955-HA2-005 will work on almost all of Honda atv petcocks , the newer atvs are riveted but its not hard to drill a rivet out and install a new rivet .
