I have used this for years on my 250R's and Tri-Z's and Banshees. Seen some posts over the years asking about them... A lot of people pay way too damn much money for OEM seat bushings that inevitably fall off from time to time. This is so easy a cave man can do it, and CHEAP approved for the 3 wheeler crowd. It may work on other models too.. Go to AZ or any motorcycle shop and get some rubber insulators. Typically for tuner car cold air intakes, various Harley Davidson applications and MSD ignition box mounts. You can get a box of 50 of these at a Flea market for like 10 bucks... Properly size the height you need and cut through the bushing...(Not your hand) with a hack saw.

Using a appropriate washer and 1/4 x 20 nut....Place the bushing through the holes for the oem bushing and attach using the washer and lock nut.

On the Z's and Banshee's...you will need to drill a hole in the frame resting plate to attach these, as the front seat grommets actually ride in the seat pan. They ALWAYS fall off the Yammies.. Reinstall your seat and go ride..Impress your friends with your space shuttle engineering savvy and be sure to tweet about your new found frugal/thrifty prowess. at #I am the smartest man in the world...
